This policy explains how the Dubrovnik Croatia Travel app (iOS and Android) and website handle information. In short: we do not collect personal data, we do not use tracking or advertising, and the app does not ask for any device permissions.
None. There are no user accounts, sign-ups or logins. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, photos or precise location, and the app does not request access to your camera, microphone or GPS.
Any places you mark as favourites are saved only in your device's local storage so the app can remember them between visits. This stays on your device, is never sent to us, and is cleared if you delete the app or clear its data.
To show current weather, Old City crowd levels and local events, the app requests this public information from our own backend at www.dubrovnik-croatia-travel.com. These requests carry no personal identifiers. As with any internet service, our hosting provider may record standard technical logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and reliability; we do not use these to identify or profile you.
Some images are served from Unsplash, and maps are shown via embedded map tiles. When you tap an external link (for example a tour provider or booking site), it opens in your system browser and is governed by that site's own privacy policy. We have no control over, and take no responsibility for, the practices of third-party sites.
The app is a general travel guide and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised “last updated” date.
